My Story

Adan Castillo, younger years

My name is Adan Castillo. I was born May of 1970 and raised in the Central Valley of California. As a child, my Mother thought it’d be a good idea to sign me in to local Boxing Club across the street from our home. I was a bit of a wild child.

I was 6 years old at the time. I had about 10 fights at that age. I still remember the taste of the mouthpiece to this day. The work ethic of training was instilled in me and it still thrives within me today. that foreshadowed the mindset you teach today.

As I grew up and experienced life, I got back in to the Ring at 41 years old. I was a Correctional Officer at the time and competed in the Battle of the Badges Charity events.

I retired after serving my community after 18 years. It was an amazing experience. I won a Masters Belt in Oct 2022.

Again, it was an amazing experience and I learned so much about myself after 7 bouts total. My experience as a CERT Operator (Correctional Emergency Response Team) taught me leadership at its most intense level. Life has taught me that winning means surviving.

Here I am now, living my best life and sharing my life experience with anyone that needs help to make that first step towards self empowerment, physical health and Mental health.

I encourage everyone to read the book and be encouraged. Welcome to GTFU.
